Backside of a Dream
NEW ALBUM The latest North Idaho effort from Charley and his current band, friends and family (son, Jesse). Great songs with a comfortable and loose feel.
Naked
On a cold winter’s night in February 1995, Charley recorded a batch of songs at Lorenz Perner’s cabin in the woods above Wrenco Loop. When you listen to this recording, you’re almost there, too! Enjoy this country folk effort by one of Sandpoint’s own beloved singer-songwriters. All songs written by Charley Packard.
Designated Driver
As intimate as it gets, this folksy-blues effort was recorded at home by Charley on a 4-track tape recorder. As always, Charley renders a collection of thoughtful, poetic songs … some written in the distant past, but all 16 tracks were recorded in 2004. Charley's mellow voice is soothing and pierces to the heart as he sings soulfully and plays guitar. All songs were written by Charley. Mastered by Dennis Coats, Snow River Music.
Pals
He's not just a songwriter and performer who happens to hang his hat in Sandpoint. The man's a local institution unto himself, likely to show up at a local concert, or performing at a local tavern, or at a wedding -- to minister the ritual as well as sing. He's also opened for some of the country's biggest folk-rock acts. This CD captures some of his favorite songs.

Over 20 years old, this album produced by Dennis Coats was only recently converted to CD. "I sure sang higher back then," Charley observes. Beth and Cinde, of Wild Roses renown, provide some background vocals. Sheldon Packwood is on bass, and Coats does the guitar work in this great country-rock recording. All songs written by Charley Packard.
Cider Mountain Serenade
Charley and some friends got together in the backwoods of North Idaho, near the infamous "Granite Hill". The full band sound is an excellent diversion from the intimate feel of the other albums. All songs written by Charley Packard.
